I feel so sucky, though today had not been a bad day. I just had a rather interesting idea and still don't know if or how i want to put it in action.
I went to a job interview today, at the Southern Region Library. According to the map it's somewhere near Dykstra. I walked all the way out to the main streets - Gayley and Veteran - only to find the streets full of vines and trees and a few ominous stairways leading to unopened doors. Sure the streets were nice, movie-like even, but walking along it by myself, peering into dark, unknown corners were really creepy. Eventually i had to climb back up the hill bc there's no entrance to the damn library. I walked the Rape Trail - or the Saxon Trail - which is just a flight of stairs in the middle of a jungle. I got to the Hitch suite, aka the rich, secluded housing unit too far to venture to. No one there could point me the way to get to the building right below them, apparently, so i decided to take a shortcut, which means walking along the drainpipes and watching out for potential psychos. Anyway, when i finally got there, i found out my appointment has been scheduled at 12 and the library doesn't open until 1 (what kinda retard set this up?) So i wait, by myself, in a place that looks just... primitive. It was a nice place though, very romantic atmosphere, very calm. It's just that sense of lurking DANGER that ruins the mood. But i guess, i really wanna work there. It's a nice place.
